Beck and pals (this time including members of MGMT and Devendra Banhart) are already three songs deep into the ten-track Songs of Leonard Cohen, this week tackling the winsome "Winter Lady" in a reserved and somber fashion. This is already shaping up to be a better project than Beck's sometimes sloppy and grating cover of Velvet Underground & Nico.
