Beck and his roster of musician pals are winding down their album-length cover of Songs of Leonard Cohen, covering "Stories of the Street" in their latest video. Beck handles the lead vocals, while Devendra Banhart adds atmospheric guitars and one of the dudes from MGMT plays drums. Like the Velvet Underground covers, the only thing really missing here is the conviction, because it's hard to replicate the conviction of an original singer's emotions. But still, this is pretty good stuff.
