Beck and his bruddas Devendra Banhart, the MGMT dudes, and a rotating cast of other people, hit the halfway point of Songs of Leonard Cohen on Friday, covering "Sisters of Mercy" in a pretty straight-forward, if not a little uninterested, manner. Beck handles the main vocals, while Banhart helps out on backing tracks and spacey guitar, while someone in MGMT (presumably) is responsible for all the video effects. [Stereogum]
