Beck: "Lawrence Of Euphoria" f. Wilco, & Feist (Skip Spence Cover) (Video)

It must be incredible to be Jeff Tweedy's kid: Not only is your dad a famous musician who is probably rich, you get to pal around with him when he goes to hang out with Beck to record an album length cover of an obscure album from the '60s. Is it too late for Tweedy to adopt me? Or does my drinking problem make me ineligible for adoption?

Heart-warming adoption questions aside, Beck, Jeff Tweedy and Jeff Tweedy's kid (and Feist on tambourine!) are just about wrapped up running through the proper version of Skip Spence's Oar, this week tackling "Lawrence of Euphoria." This one is heavy on the electronic deconstructions that were heavily involved in Beck's covers of Leonard Cohen and the Velvet Underground. But since it's not like this song is all that well known, it isn't as rough to listen to as those ones.
