Beck: Gamma Ray (Live on the Late Show) (Video)
Beck has been in New York this week, playing a string of shows at the United Palace to promote his Modern Guilt album. There’s been no mention of any anti-Scientology protests outside the shows, although Beck was cited by the Anonymous group when they staged a demonstration outside the Broadway production of Arthur Miller’s All My Sons in September.But Beck did take time to appear on David Letterman’s show last night, bringing along his full band for a perfunctory run through of “Gamma Ray.” Reports on the shows at the United Palace have been mixed, with many people complaining about jacked up ticket prices and relatively short set times. The run of shows comes to an end tonight, with MGMT opening up.
