Beck and his pals just released thier take of "Femme Fatale," the third song from Velvet Underground and Nico, the first album Beck's record club is covering front to back. Like the covers of "Sunday Morning" and "Waiting for the Man," Beck's work on "Femme" is percussive and mellow. The clock's ticking on "Venus in Furs" now, and that is probably one of the harder tracks on the album to cover.
