Beans: "Mellow You Out" ft. Tunde Adebimpe
End It All, the upcoming solo album from Antipop Consortium member Beans, is absolutely jam packed with guest appearances. Tobacco, Sam Fogarino of Interpol, Four Tet, and Bumps all pop up on the LP, but on "Mellow You Out," the guest role goes to TV On The Radio belter Tunde Adebimpe. At first, it seems like Adebimpe's contribution will be largely wordless, until he delivers a slightly aggressive spotlight section at the song's end. As for Beans, he goes the rapid-fire route, dropping lines that demand repeated listens to decipher and appreciate. Give the track a spin over at Pitchfork.
End It All is set to drop on Feb. 15 via Anticon.
