"I Go Off," Beanie Sigel and 50 Cent's healthily-publicized track that signals 50's solidarity with Beans vs. Jay-Z, has hit servers everywhere, and the big news here isn't the track at all (which is okay, all things considered. The beat is pretty solid), it's that 50 goes hard at Jay-Z on the outro, calling him out for "letting the money" change him. Those are big words coming from 50 Cent, who as you don't need to be reminded, lives in Connecticut in Mike Tyson's old house. I mean, I know Connecticut is mad gully, but it's not like 50 hasn't changed due to the money. It's not like he's still sitting in Queens in a low-rise. You just have to wonder what the end game for this Beans-Jay fight is; Jay is at a position where he's insulated from any potential beef due to his commercial standing, so him going down to fight Beanie would be unnecessary (it's not like Beans is going to hurt Jay's sales). And 2009 50 can't do much against Jay at this point. However, 2003 50 might have been able to take Jay down a peg or two.
