While on their first tour of Australia, Baltimore’s Beach House filmed a performance of their new single, “Used to Be,” for Shoot the Player, which is essentially Australia’s Take Away Show. The band played an acoustic version of the song in a nook in a large rock on a beach, and it sounds fragile and tender when removed from the organ lines that provide its backbone on tape. As a bonus, Victoria Legrand sings a verse of TLC’s “Waterfalls” at the end.
The “Used to Be” seven-inch is out now via Carpark. [via Pitchfork]
