“Heart of Chambers” was the languid centerpiece to Beach House’s excellent sophomore album Devotion, but in this Black Cab Session, the song is a moderately chippy number-- mostly due to the magma-slow organ of the original being replaced with a quick acoustic guitar line. The song is still a highlight from the Baltimore band, who recently announced a new single and tour.
