On a recent tour of Norway, Baltimore’s
Beach House were asked by a Norwegian TV reporter to memorialize their trip from Bergen to Oslo by recording a brand new song. How did Victoria Legrand and Alex Scally respond? By recording this slow burner, that would have gone great sequenced after “Gila” on their excellent second album
Devotion, in a train station in Oslo. Legrand is without her trademark, antique organ, but luckily the two coaxed some guy into playing shaker and tambourine to accompany Scally’s somber guitar line.
this is great
