BBU: "Jumpers" (Prefix Premiere)

When we previously heard from BBU -- it stands for both Bin Laden Blowing Up and Brown, Black & Ugly -- they were trading rhymes with like-minded hip-hop trio Das Racist on "Please, No Pictures." Since then, the Chicago-based three-piece has recorded a follow-up to last year's break-through release, Fear of a Clear Channel Planet.

We can expect to hear BBU's Illekt, Epic, and Jasson Perez weaving their playful, albeit contemplative, rhymes across the bell hooks mixtape in early 2012. But until then, expect to hear more ill singles like "Jumpers," a bluesy, scathing look at racism, hip-hop, and our culture at large. To say the track is wholly appropriate at a time like this in the States would be a massive understatement.
