PBS needs more attention. I have fond memories of kicking back after elementary school and rocking with Lamar Burton hosting Reading Rainbow, or getting annoyed at how whiny Daniel Striped Tiger was on Mr. Rogers' Neighborhood. Now, as an adult, I can peep badass episodes of the iconic Austin City Limits series. On an episode this past weekend, both The National and Band of Horses brought their contemplative, emotionally bursting brands of indie rock to the stage. Check out the above video for part one of the show, which features The National rocking Boxer andHigh Violet tracks alike, not to mention some hilarious stage banter.
