Baby Monster: "Ultra Violence and Beethoven" (MP3)

Bringing a quietly anthemic feeling, lyrics about the world ending, and sweet synths, this Baby Monster track drips with youth. There are nice alternations for the fickle at heart: a house beat fluxes into a breakbeat, and distored vocals tag-team a falsetto voice that borrows from Sigur Ros. As someone writes in the comments at Big Stereo, "this is broken dream syrup."

The Oregon duo is still obscure, but 50 Bones is putting out a 7" single soon. [Big Stereo]
