It's been a year and a half since Autolux dropped their long-awaited sophomore album, Transit Transit. These days, that length of time would prevent an act from releasing a new video in promotion of a project that's been out that long. Hell, most acts would have already released a brand-new single, EP, or album -- or a combination of those -- in that timespan. But not these Los Angeles noise/dream-pop rockers, who took six years between their debut, Future Perfect, and Transit Transit.
With that in mind, we shouldn't be surprised that it took this long to see some visuals for "The Science of Imaginary Solutions." It's also not surprising because it looks like a lot of time went into making this video, which I could try to explain but you really need to just try and digest it for yourself. Seriously, I'm not really sure what to make of these computer-generated imagery below, but it does definitely suit the track.
