Atmosphere: "Just For Show"
Slug of Atmosphere dropped by Minnesota Public Radio station The Current last night to debut the first single off of Atmosphere's upcoming LP, The Family Sign. The song is called "Just For Show," and it features the confrontational, diary-esque lyrics Atmosphere have become known for with the twist of real instrumentation and fat bass lines. The track's definitely hot, but that album cover's a little unsettling. The wrists of a baby are too fat too be zoomed in on; the proportions of the standard human body are not like that. And is he doing the black panther fist? Do all babies do that naturally when they're born?
The Family Sign is due out on April 12 via Rhymesayers.
