Not every music video has to be "Thriller," doggone it. For instance, Asobi Seksu's "Transparence" is an idyllic, sunny song about daydreams, and other pleasnt things. "Transparence" the video mainly features Asobi Seksu vocalist Yuki Chikudate lounging around in idyllic, sunny environs, singing about daydreams, and the clip manages to be pretty decent. See how that works guys?
Asobi Seksu has a new acoustic-y release, Rewolf (no it is not a collection of Shakira covers, though that could be amazing), due out Nov. 10 on Polyvinyl.
I really like AS, esp live. A minor return to form here? (It ain't no "Strawberries" or "Walk on the Moon" eh) Hush was rather mediocre compared to Citrus and s/t, but I remain hopeful.
