I suppose that when you work in a genre as loosely defined as "dream pop," your music videos can be as loosely abstract as you want them to be. Singer Yuki Chukidate and guitarist James Hanna stand in front of backgrounds that shift around them, play dress-up with monochromatic outfits and a blonde wig, get snowed on by feathers, and just generally look like a very serious shoegaze pop-band. Their third record Hush is due Feb. 17 on Polyvinyl. [Pitchfork]
