Is it just me or does it seem like Asher Roth is finally living up to the hype? That is, of course, the same hype that disappeared within what seemed like minutes following the release of his unbalanced debut, Asleep In The Bread Aisle. But over the past year or so, he's been on a tear, like on his mixtape he dropped earlier this year, Seared Foie Gras With Quince & Cranberry. His streak continues here with "Run It Back," the latest from his forthcoming The Rawth EP with producer Nottz. Sure, Roth might sound like his contemporaries at times on the track, but it's still a solid performance, both lyrically and flow-wise.
