Some things you need to know about this Asher Roth video for "Last Man Standing" before you hit play:
1. The visuals are probably the best part about all of this. They utilize a graphic novel approach that is both engaging to the viewer and more than just another excuse for Asher to get the song out there. Well done.
2. It's the latest single off his forthcoming sophomore album, which has been changed from The Spaghetti Tree to (um) Is This Too Orange.
3. It features Akon, who people can't seem to stop working with. We get it, dude has had a lot of big tracks but come on, let's move forward, please.
4. The track itself is pretty solid lyrically and Asher sounds motivated, but the wailing Akon hook and rock-ish production hinder the appeal of "Last Man Standing."
5. At least it's not "I Love College."
Anyway, Is This Too Orange is due out some time this year.
