The trend these days, it would appear, is to release a free track to the masses via Twitter whenever something related to the artist occurs. It can be something simple like reaching a new amount of followers or, in the case of Asher Roth, a celebration of moving into some new digs. He dropped off this track, "Kidz Theze Daze," last night after he had just set up his microphone in his apartment. It features him spitting over Boogie Down Productions' classic diss, "The Bridge is Over." There are no shots fired here, though, just a dude happy to continue displaying that, yeah, he can rap pretty goddamn well. Seriously, he's been on a pretty strong run after disappointing a fair amount of folks with Asleep in the Bread Aisle. Hopefully this means we'll be getting a mixtape before his sophomore album, The Spaghetti Tree.
