Asher Roth

"Be By Myself" ft. The Roots (Live on Fallon) (Video)

Who could have predicted that when the Roots took over as the house band for Jimmy Fallon's show that Black Thought would get so many opportunities to show off his singing voice. He's basically the go-to guy for any rapper coming through to promote an album, and last night he did hook duty on Asher Roth's "Be By Myself," which is handled by Cee-Lo on tape. Roth runs into the crowd near the end to sing the song right to a woman, which is kind of curious, since the song is essentially Roth telling a woman that he'd rather watch wrestling and play Madden than date her.

Asher Roth's Asleep in the Bread Aisle is out now.
