One of Asher Roth's main stylistic tics and talking points is that he isn't like Eminem. I can appreciate that, since it probably gets tired being compared to Eminem. But Roth sounds a lot like Em, and he uses Eminem's flair for profanity and humor. If you don't want people to compare you to Eminem, recording a song called "As I Em" that angrily addresses your frustration over being compared to Eminem isn't probably the best way to shake off the comparison, however. "As I Em" is a rock and reggae-influenced track featuring Chester French, and unfortunately for Roth, this will only ensure that he gets compared to Eminem in every review of his upcoming debut, Asleep in the Bread Aisle, which is due out on April 20. Aye Niggaz, Asher Is Gonna Make It! They Said Em wasn't gonna make it when he started cuz he sounded like vanilla ice but em did and is way bigger then Vanilla Ice. So I Would'nt be surprissed if Asher roth passes eminem! But Eminem Is still the greatest rapper alive.

He bit his style, his voice, elements of his lyrical style and that Eminem singing chorus style too. Cleaned it all up and made it 'Girls Gone Wild' / Spring Break college friendly pop poo (apparently Prefix readers are too sensitive to see the s word).

Actually to be fair the chorus style on this one is stolen from Everlast. Or is it Kid Rock?
