Out of nowhere, the Arctic Monkeys return with a video for new song "Brick By Brick," a retro-leaning head bopper that doesn't really stray too far from the formula it establishes early on in the track. As for the video, the first half it mainly consists of long shots of a record playing on a turntable in what could be interpreted as an homage to the Replacements' classic video for "Bastards Of Young." In the clip's second half, you get to see the band actually recording the song (in February of this year, apparently) and wandering around outdoors.
The new Arctic Monkeys album, their first since 2009's Humbug, does not have a release date yet, but is reportedly being produced once again by Simian Mobile Disco's James Ford.
