Architecture in Helsinki: "Contact High"
Since the release of Architecture In Helsinki's 2007 album Places Like This, Cut Copy swooped in and snagged the Australian neon-pop crown. Well, don't count Architecture out yet. The band's new album Moment Bends drops on May 3 via Cooperative/Downtown/Modular, and first leak "Contact High" is seriously like bonging 20 pixie sticks at once. There are all sorts of beeping keyboards, yearning vocals, and oddly-toned other instruments to be found here. It's also absurdly catchy.
