Architecture in Helsinki: "Contact High" (Javelin Remix)
The original version of Architecture in Helsinki's "Contact High," off their newly released Moment Bends, is a surprisingly unassuming cut from the otherwise caffeinated Aussies. It's still every bit as catchy and fun as the band's earlier material, but it's also more mature and less explosive. Additionally, "Contact High" features a lot of open space, which makes remixing the track a given. Javelin has stepped in to do just that, with bags full of fairy dust and a couple of cowbells. The sprightly vocals remain the same, as does the pacing, but Javelin has combined them with some extra bounce and a layer of their shiniest paint on this remix.
