Last Friday, at New Orleans' Jazz Fest, Arcade Fire busted out a pretty weird cover: Cyndi Lauper's "Girls Just Want to Have Fun," which is below. But it turns out it wasn't so random: The band had Lauper come out to sing "Sprawl II" with them, lending her vocals to the harmonies in the run-ups to the chorus and a spooky slide guitar. Certainly lends those Regine-Cyndi Lauper comparisons some credence, don't they? Watch that video above.
