It’s been impossible to avoid the Arcade Fire in the past week, what with their appearance on the Grammys and the Brits and the minor Internet furor caused by the former. Now, here they are again, this time performing an acoustic version of “Month of May” for KROQ. This was recorded before the events of the past week, and was complemented by a similarly stripped-down version of “Ready to Start,” which you can see here. The entire performance was eclipsed by Win Butler’s sweater, which is positively hypnotic in its garishness.
