Even though it dropped in March, Apollo Brown isn't done pushing his excellent instrumental release, Clouds, just yet. With good reason, too, as he has a busy schedule ahead of him for the remainder of 2011. Pretty soon we should be hearing from his collaboration with Rochester, N.Y.-based rapper Hassaan Mackey under the name Daily Bread. But until then, let's enjoy one of the more languid joints off Clouds. "Tao Te Ching" is about as mellow as they come, with its slow-paced drums and stretched-out brass. As if the track wasn't woozy enough, it now has these dreamy animated visuals to further relax you to the core. Just try not to doze off into a peaceful sleep at your desk. You've been warned.
Clouds is out now.
