It was metal night on the late night talk shows last night (Oct. 6), with KISS appearing on Letterman and the mighty Anvil showing up on Conan O’Brien’s show. The band has enjoyed a run of success since the amazing Anvil: The Story of Anvil came out earlier this year, and that good fortune looks set to continue.

They performed “Metal on Metal,” which anyone who has seen the film will remember, and includes one of the best lunkheaded sing-along choruses in the band’s sizable oeuvre. Sadly, singer Steve “Lips” Kudlow doesn’t play his guitar with a vibrator on this occasion, but that just gives viewers another good reason to check out the movie.
