Animal Collective

My Girls (Stream)

I haven't heard much of the new Animal Collective album, Merriweather Post Pavilion, but our Nick Neyland says "My Girls" is the album's highlight. If that's true, Post Pavilion is going to be incredible.

"My Girls" begins as a skittering, glimmery sketch, and before long, layer upon layer of vocals, instrumentation, bass, and percussion are piled on before the massive, rewarding climax. To hear the studio version of the track, go here (via You Ain't No Picasso). Since it might disappear before long, above is a clip of Animal Collective doing the song at Coachella. Web Sheriff,
There was a link to a stream of one song that no longer works and a link to a YouTube video from Coachella. We did not post tracks from the album.
