If you've seen any episode of SNL since 2005, chances are you've been privy to a Digital Short. Always brief, frequently absurd, sometimes funny, Digital Shorts are tailor-made for the Internet (most are directed by Akiva Schaffer, of net sensation The Lonely Island). More often than not they pop up on blogs a day or two after airing. This one, which aired on Saturday, Dec. 11, features SNL cast member Andy Samberg, comedian/actor Paul Rudd, and Paul McCartney. Spoiler: it's just OK, and McCartney's cameo (he was the musical guest that night, too) is less than spectacular. Still, it's worth checking out for the puffy shirt alone.
