…And You Will Know Us by the Trail of Dead are busy promoting the recently released Tao of Dead, and those duties included a performance on Lopez Tonight yesterday (June 14). They performed “Weight of the Sun” from that record, which is a typically propulsive rock number that keeps that thread of raucous punk leaning noise matched with Sonic Youth-style dissonance that has run throughout their career. But the best part of this appearance is just watching Lopez grimace as he says “…And You Will Know Us by the Trail of Dead” in his intro. Check it out above.
