The new album by Trail of Dead is titled Tao of the Dead and is out now, sparking a flurry of promo by the band which brought them to WNYC for a sesson. This clip of "Ebb Away" from that new record demonstrates their familiar mash-up of anguished vocalizing and thickly layered guitar sounds. It's pretty much business as usual for the group here, but it's also the sound of them paying to their strengths, especially when they hit that glorious extended guitar passage at the heart of this track.
