This bonus episode of A.V. Undercover was filmed during Surfer Blood and Trail of Dead's tour together, and since the Surfer Blood dudes were doing an episode, Trail of Dead wanted in too. But they didn't follow the rules of picking a song off the list: They instead really wanted to cover Indigo Girls' "Blood and Fire." Frontman Conrad Keely says he used to sing the song when he was learning to sing, and that sort of makes sense, because his band plays this like a coffee house cover, like they're a bunch of high schoolers who love the Indigo Girls and did their best at the open mic night.
