Amazing Baby: Pump Your Brakes (Video)

Amazing Baby are a young band in a sense beyond their post-college ages: they formed in January, released an EP (Infinite Fucking Cross) this summer, and are already hitting the hype cycle. Granted, a lot of that has to do with their friendship and tours with MGMT, but the band’s mix of psychedelia and Led Zeppelin-esque pomp is pretty easy to like. Case in point: “Pump Your Brakes” which now has just gotten an LSD-fueled video. The song has huge guitar solo in the middle and at the end, screaming vocals, and percussion that sounds like it was recorded on Mars.

This video finds the band gallivanting around their Brooklyn homestead, and playing basketball with some chicks who can dunk. The band is set to start recording a full-length album in the near future. [Stereogum]
