Akron/Family: Various Songs (Live On KEXP) (Streaming)
There’s a new record out by popular psych-folk outfit Akron/Family, which is titled Akron/Family II: The Cosmic Birth and Journey of Shinju TNT. The release of the record was preceded by some confusing leaks, which included numerous different mixes of the album, all apparently put out online by the band members themselves. Well, that’s one way to beat piracy. Now the album is actually available there can be little doubt as to which version they consider definitive, but they’ve reworked some of their songs again for this session on KEXP, which you can hear via this link.
