The shaggy psychers known as Akron/Family have a new album coming out next month, thus explaining the appearance of "So It Goes" on the internet. The track somehow manages to be simultaneously crunchy and breezy, riding on a knotty lead guitar figure complimented by chirpy second guitar and high-flying backup vocals. After a single stomping chorus, the track calmly makes its exit just after two and a half minutes. Check it out over at Pitchfork.
S/T II: The Cosmic Birth And Journey Of Shinju TNT is due out Feb. 8 via Dead Oceans.
