I think we can all agree that we need more Iragi heavy metal. I mean, Acrassicauda have had literal bombs dropped on them, so who better than them to do sprawling metal songs with videos of bombs dropping? Acrassicauda were recently signed by Vice, and were the subject of Heavy Metal in Baghdad, so they're definitely coming from the hipster-metal end of the spectrum, but "Garden of Stones" isn't overly academic; it's got a lot of shrieking, guitar wailing, and a Iron Maiden-esque throb. It's good to see the dudes have parlayed a Vice contract into a robust strobe light budget.
