AC/DC are touting this clip for “Rock N’ Roll Train” from the just-released Black Ice, as the first music video ever made on Microsoft Excel. I guess that’s supposed to be impressive—but I can’t get myself to care. I guess I’m not predisposed to find a Brian Johnson made out of lines on a spreadsheet awesome. To me, it seems like a way to jazz up the fact that the song is just standard AC/DC—virtually interchangeable with any of their other songs.
AC/DC are offering the full video for download here (I haven’t given it a shot, I’ve stuck with YouTube). [via Idolator]
They're aiming right at the old and dry 9-5 office workers, who have to drudge through MS office all week. These people who are so out of touch with culture that they truly believe AC/DC, is still the only band that rocks.
I think they nailed the target dead on with this. Good for them.
It sounds like he's singing "one cool dildo" in the second line of the song. Is he?
I like the morons who complain that any AC/DC song is interchangeable, as if it's a put down. Now take any other wanna be band and try to interchange their attempts at the AC/DC sound, doesn't even come close.
The guys put out consistent, but consistently good rock, wish I could say the same for any other band that tries to make it 5 years, let alone 35.
