A.C. Newman: "Like a Hitman, Like a Dancer" (Live on Letterman) (Video)

A.C. Newman is currently taking a break from his New Pornographers duties to promote his Get Guilty album, which is currently available on Matador. Newman showed up with special guest Nicole Atkins on the Late show with David Letterman last night (April 13), and in a moment of synergy, his bandmate Neko Case played across town at the Nokia Theatre.

Case will appear on Letterman on Wednesday this week, and Dave is clearly a fan, saying to Newman and Atkins: “that was very impressive” (I know, he says that to all the bands). “Like A Hitman, Like A Dancer” is a jaunty acoustically thrumbed number, and the band sounds incredibly tight after spending most of February and March on the road.
