I want to go to bed, but it would be wrong if we didn't post this. "Scenario" is one of the greatest tracks in the history of hip-hop and quite possibly the greatest posse cut ever.
Here's an unreleased version that just popped out of nowhere 15+ years later.

Slammin' emcees as if my name was Rick Flair? Brilliant! I know it's obvious but this version doesn't even come close to the original. I think I've had the lyrics to this song memorized for over 15 years. Definitely one of the best hip hop tracks of all-time. Damn those were good times for hip hop!

I hear ya Josh H, pretty awesome to see the track back in the spotlight though. Then again this song still seems to move the crowd any time I'm out and I hear it.

Everybody rhymed on it but Q-Tip, and the best motherf**ker on that s**t was Posdunous. He f**kin’ destroyed it, and he ain’t even like the beat! And after he finished rhyming, everybody went back and rewrote their rhymes!
We was at Unique Studio, that motherf**ker finished rhyming, he came out and goes, ‘That s**t was wack.’ That’s what Pos said. In the middle of his s**t, everybody was like, ‘Damn, yo!’

They should release an entire album of all the remixes and alternate versions that exist. I'd listen to that!

this is even better than rick ross being a corrections officer. seriously, you never really hear about what might exist in the hip-hop vaults . . . outtakes, demos, alternate versions. this is insane history right here--best posse cut ever by the way.
