A Place to Bury Strangers are beginning the New Year with a set of dates that will take them through to mid-April. Oliver Ackermann’s road weary group are clearly determined to spread the word about their Exploding Head album, and fans are advised to invest in a pair of ear plugs, as they like to play loud.

A video for “Keep Slipping Away” has been issued to coincide with the spate of dates, and it’s a low-tech, Videodrome-esque sci-fi piece in which a TV set consumes Ackermann amid a blizzard of strobe lighting and strange devices strapped to the singer’s head. What can it all mean?
