“99 Percenters” (Video)

In August last year we reported that Al Jourgensen was back recording under the Ministry name again, despite some serious health worries. The resulting album, Relapse, is set for release next week, which is being previewed by a video for the song “99 Percenters.” This is Jourgensen’s attempt to tap into the Occupy Wall Street movement, with the typically abrasive groove of the song matched by suitable protest imagery. It’s firmly within the Ministry comfort zone—that easy listening album from the band will just have to wait another decade—with Jourgensen’s acidic howl still bearing the kind of bite he’s had since way back in the early 1980s.
