Although it's been out for nearly a year and a half in the U.K., 65daysofstatic's caffeine-fueled post-rock romp, We Were Exploding Anyway, will make its way to the States in two weeks. As a preview of what we can expect on the record, the British four-piece offers "Come to Me." As expected, the energy is all the way turned up with loads of explosive drums and guitars.
But it's all grounded by guest vocals from Robert Smith, aka one of the most instantly recognizable singers ever. It's no surprise to hear him on here, because fans of 65dos will remember that Smith championed the band years ago and even brought them on tour with the Cure. Stream the track below. We Were Exploding Anyway drops Oct. 25 on Monotreme Records. [130 BPM]
