50 Cent: 'The Big 10' (Mixtape)

50 Cent's career took an interesting turn when he announced the release of a now-canceled techno album, Black Magic. The South Jamaica, Queens native opted to mostly focus on other endeavors, including his Street King energy drink, his headphones line, and his goal to provide one billion meals for hungry children. But amid all this, the rapper-turned-businessman has dropped hints at a new album along with random "freestyles" showcasing the hungry 50 we all loved in the early 2000s.

And rather than just keep dishing out loose tracks, he decided to record some new material and put together a free mixtape. The Big 10 features 10 new tracks from 50 -- along with an outro and a bonus track -- and it showcases two of his new artists, Paris and Kidd Kidd. It will be interesting to see where 50 goes from here and whether or not his planned new album will finally drop in 2012.
