"In God We Trust" isn't, luckily for 50 Cent, slated for inclusion on his upcoming Before I Self Destruct-- it's included on his upcoming videogame Blood in the Sand. The song is pretty rough-- its chorus is undeveloped, and the "ashes to ashes/ we sling the dust" line is cute once, but annoying the 10th time in two minutes. The track really highlights the fact that 50 has been spending his time doing everything besides worrying about developing as a lyricist-- he's too busy making videogames. to worry about his rhymes. Now, seriously, Mr. Winistorfer, do you really think the guy that once said, "This is 50 comin' out your stereo../ hard to tell though cause I switch the flow" really had (or has) any potential to grow as a lyricist? C'mon now, you're smarter than that.
