The Doozies are a pair of brothers from Washington, D.C. who play lo-fi-garage-pop-fuzz-burger-rock very very well. Since their formation, they’ve added rhythm guitar and bass, but the cosmic musical connection between brothers remains intact. Here’s a Prefix Premiere of a new track called “1997” from their forthcoming album, Cookout. You can check out their self-titled first album on their Bandcamp page, or head over to Spotify to hear their Windian-released Ruby EP. If you live in our nation’s capital, they’ll be playing a show at the end of July with Natural Child. The track and more details about the show are below.
