1990s: "59" (Video)

"59" is one of the sweetest and tender songs in 1990s raucous post-punk songbook, and this video for the song captures that tenderness--the Scottish band perform in outfits that look like they're from 1959, and the group acts pretty wholesome. Shocking for a band that's entire first album (Cookies) was about getting wasted. 

"59" is on 1990s' Kicks, which is out on March 24 via Rough Trade.
