Kristian Matsson, the folk force behind Sweden’s the Tallest Man on Earth, has been as consistent as just about anyone over the last few years, releasing albums and EPs that are pretty much entirely devoid of fluff. And ahead of third album There’s No Leaving Now, out June 12 via Dead Oceans, Matsson has just premiered “1904,” a gorgeous and musically simple strum that employs only a couple of different guitar parts to go along with Matsson’s vocal (though that’s one more guitar part than usual). Unsurprisingly, if you’ve enjoyed the Man’s previous output, you shouldn’t have problems with this one. [Rolling Stone]
